Velvet Room offers on-site Makeup & Hair services as well as B-12 shots in St Louis, Mo, and Southern Illinois surrounding areas. We also offer in-studio services at our South St. Louis City studio located at 4525 S Kingshighway Blvd, by appointment only.

Who is Velvet Room?

Velvet Room Was Established In 2022

Based in St Louis, MO by leading makeup artist and hairstylist with 10+ years of experience in the bridal beauty industry, Shanice Mac and Marina Guebely.

One day, Marina and Shanice were carpooling to a wedding out in Hermann, MO. During their trip, they talked about their goals in the bridal beauty industry and realized their ambitions and goals were nothing else but the same. After working together at many weddings and realizing what a great team they made they took the jump and created what is today: Velvet Room, a makeup & hair studio for all your beauty needs.

They built a thriving and passionate beauty team to provide services throughout Missouri and Southern Illinois and plan to one day expand even more to other surrounding states.

Velvet Room’s beauty team goes the extra mile to provide curated services and flawless looks and strives to make a connection with each and every merrier and bride by gaining understanding and trust.

Marina was wonderful!!! She made me look and feel beautiful! I had just originally hired her to just do my makeup but we found out last minute at the hairstylist that we had hired had not put me on her schedule and I called Marina and without hesitation said she could do my hair also and came over earlier than what we had planned. Marina is amazing! I met her by chance through work and immediately stored her information with my upcoming wedding.
